For sale is our Volkswagen Golf, which we're only selling because we're upsizing to an estate after an upsize in our family.. We bought it from a Volkswagen dealership 3.5 years ago, when we were expecting our first child, and it's been a great car for us ever since. It's been trouble-free, comfortable, and easy to live with. The bits we've really appreciated are that it's been well looked after (has almost full service history, five VW & six garage services over it's 12 years), is the facelifted version, comes with adaptive cruise control, Bluetooth, and a really comfortable drive compared with cars we've had before. It also has four nearly new tyres, fitted in December 2025 and only around 2,000 miles ago. There's about half a tank of petrol too, plus roof bars and a phone holder, which you're welcome to keep or I can remove. We also have both keys, and it's MOT'd until the end of January next year. In the spirit of being as transparent as I can, there are a few niggles. It's due an oil service, I don't think the cambelt has been replaced, and the most recent MOT has a couple of advisories which you can look up online or message me about. There are a couple of scratches, a chip in one mirror, and some paint cracking on the boot lip, all shown in the photos. The volume knob on the stereo can be a bit temperamental, but the steering wheel buttons work perfectly. The AC also doesn't blow particularly cold. I think these are fairly normal things for a car of this age and mileage, but I'd rather be upfront about everything. I've priced it below similar cars to reflect this.
