Smart Fortwo Pure. Partial Service History. This tiny car is the perfect city car. My partner has used it as a first car after passing her test. Its category 05E in the insurance industry which gives any owner very cheap insurance. It costs 35 pound per year road tax only! It is semi automatic just like all smart cars of this age which means if you come to a stop it will automatically come down from fifth gear to first and vice versa when driving. However, to shift yourself its as simple as just pushing the gear level forward or back. There is no clutch pedal. Its maintenance is basic and cheap. It has only ever needed the usual bulbs and tyres. Recent brand new tyres have been fitted. Brand new battery also recently fitted. Full service carried out privately in the last 3 months. MOT history will show a "mileage issue". This is because before 2010 Smart only produced cars which the dashboard shown the vehicle in kilometres. However upon testing at an MOT centre, they would always put miles on the test. So over the cars lifetime when there was a mix of both miles and kilometres this has flagged as an issue. It is currently out of MOT, it is booked in to be tested on 24.06.2026. So it will come with a 12 month MOT unless you are happy to come and take it before. Please get in touch.
