Sad sale of our son's first car, which has been a reliable and economical car and has only been sold due to an upgrade. 2014 Vauxhall Corsa SXi 1.2 Petrol 128,000 miles MOT until November 2026 Some service history Last serviced November 2025 Recent maintenance includes: New battery New water pump New thermostat kit/housing The car starts, runs and drives well. However, following the recent water pump and thermostat replacement, the engine management light has appeared. Diagnostics show fault code P0366 - Camshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance (Bank 1). There is an occasional slight misfire when accelerating uphill at around 40mph in 4th gear (approximately 3,000rpm), which appears to be related to this fault. We have been advised it should be a relatively straightforward repair, estimated at around 300, but as our son has already purchased another vehicle we have decided not to proceed with the repair and have priced the car accordingly. A great little car that has served him well, with plenty of life left in it for someone willing to sort the fault. Viewings and test drives welcome.
