For sale is my 2002 BMW E46 318CI convertible. I have owned the car since September 2024 and has never let me down. This was my first car therefore I took good care of it as during my ownership I had a new clutch fitted (only 2000 miles old) replaced all the brake system including brake disks, pads, and 2 new front calipers ( around 1500 miles old ). With these changes the car drives very smoothly and pulls through all gears very well. It has got an aftermarket Bluetooth screen so that you can use you phone to play your own music. The front speakers do not currently work however I was told that when the screen was being installed by the previous owner the front speakers wires were not plugged in however it never bothered me. The car had its last MOT in September 2025 of which it did fail on a few items for example the backbox had developed a hole, shocks were leaking and the offside track rod end ball joint was loose. I had all these replaced costing 400. Recently the car did go into BMW for an Airbag recall and whilst it was there it had a health check done and I was told compared to most E46 BMW's it was in very good condition. Onto a few bad points to the car, there is a small dent on the bonnet caused by a rock which you can see in one of the photos, there is also a dent on the rear bumper on the passenger's side. As of now the roof isn't fully operational, it worked fine until one day it didn't want to open. I have had it looked at and as it does partially go down I was told it was most likely caused by a faulty sensor. As this is no longer a car that gets used and I'm working on my current car I haven't tried to fix the roof and because it's something I've never worked on before. Also to note the keys of which there is 2 don't always respond to the car, this is a common issue with E46 BMW's where the sensor for them is inside of the rear view mirror so it just requires that to be replaced as both keys now have brand new batteries. I have a folder rammed with invoices and service papers. Mechanically this car is very good however it is 24 years old so body work isn't immaculate. I do also have a brand new unpainted msport front bumper with the correct fitting fog lights that I never installed that can be included if you want them.
