Description
2002 Toyota Alphard 2.4 (ANH10) Japanese import, first UK-registered Dec 2017. Genuinely low-mileage 8-seater that's already a ready-to-go festival sleeper out of the box: full privacy curtains, blackout windscreen blind and two seat-fit mattress toppers all included. Fresh MOT, the famously bulletproof timing-chain 2.4 engine, and only for sale because we're leaving the country otherwise it'd be staying.
RHD petrol automatic, 8 seats, silver. Genuine low mileage for the age at 79,737 miles, backed by a consistent UK MOT history trail. Just passed a fresh MOT on 5 June 2026, with around 650 of receipted work done to get it through properly: new steering rack bushes, both front anti-roll-bar drop links, offside front lower ball joint, front brake pads, two front tyres, headlights cleaned/polished, and a full wheel alignment (before/after printout). It also has a new 2024 Bosch battery.
Drives well and is mechanically solid. The 2.4 2AZ-FE engine is timing-chain driven and famously reliable, and parts cross over with the Toyota Estima/Previa (ACR30/MCR30), so spares are cheap and easy to find. Great as a big family bus, an airport/people carrier, or a low-mileage base for a campervan conversion.
Comes with a working electronic remote key (lock/unlock from the fob) plus a spare physical key, a genuine English-language owner's manual (rare on an import), an Android touchscreen stereo with Bluetooth, and all mechanically-adjustable seats working. Also fitted with a tow bar and rear parking/backup sensors.
Already set up for sleeping/camping: full privacy curtains throughout, a front windscreen blackout blind, and two mattress toppers that fit over the seats when laid flat a ready-made festival/weekend sleeper and a real head-start for anyone planning a camper conversion.
In the interest of honesty:
A/C blows but doesn't cool likely just needs a re-gas (priced in).
Nearside (left) sliding door opens from the outside handle only; the inside handle doesn't operate. Right sliding door fine.
Cosmetic damage to the rear quarter and a scuff to the front bumper/skirt (see photos). Cosmetic only no structural or mechanical impact.
