Description
Clarkson spec Range Rover L322 in Tonga Green, 3.6 twin turbo diesel, runs and drives brilliantly and starts on the button. This car has been brilliant to own and run, probably the best car I've ever owned, but unfortunately a house purchase is forcing this sale. She's not without her issues, with the general rust spots (tailgate and rear arches) and scratches, but overall all she looks extremely well. I never got round to changing the upper tailgate but if you were able to get your hands on one, she'd look outstanding.
Things I've had done:
Full service less than 4,000 miles ago
Full machine polished
Ceramic coated
Fully glass sealed
Duratrac Wrangler tyres (loads of life on them)
All new discs and pads
Sunroof drains cleared
Brand new windscreen less than 200 miles ago
Brand new battery
Headlights restored
Heater resistor replaced (no battery drain issues)
Things to note:
The keen eyed among you will have noticed the engine light being yellow. This is due to the car having a DFP delete, and has no effect on the engine performance (not in limo mode). This is actually a positive thing, removing the DFP actually massively improves the lifespan of this engine. This light can easily be mapped out but never bothered me.
Occasionally the fuel level sensor drops to no fuel, but will restore itself back to normal.
Typically questions answered:
The can runs and drives brilliantly
Tyres have loads of tread
I would not hesitate to jump in this car tomorrow and drive it to lands ends or John O' groats
All the airbags work brilliantly and the car raises and lowers as it should without leaks
There is no water ingress into the car now the sun roof drains have been cleared.
The battery has been replaced so there are no electrical or battery drain issues.
