Hello and welcome to the sale of this beautiful and iconic SL350 r230. In my opinion ,it's the best specification of r230 you should go for in terms of the reliability, maintenance and daily driving as the car is equipped with a super reliable 3.7 M112 V6 engine coupled with also reliable 5G-Tronic 722.6 automatic transmission. When you add a full service history SL comes with and extremely low mileage on the top of that ,it means plenty of miles of trouble free driving ahead of the new owner. Also , it's worth mentioning that this MB is equipped with a standard suspension unlike SL500 and AMG variants that come with a problematic Active Body Control one.This vehicle also benefits from a lower tax bracket and ULEZ FREE London entry as it's compliant. The roof operates beautifully and also is super water tight (regularly maintained). Every single button works , air con etc. the interior reflects the low mileage, looks and smells nicely indeed. It's the place you want to be and stay in even though it's time to get out ;-).During my ownership I have replaced two batteries of the correct specifications and purchased 4 brand new tires of the factory specifications reserved for these 17 inch wheels ( ride is super comfortable ). Also replaced both roof flap actuators by the improved ones.Serviced by myself. Done MOT recently and the car as always went through it with plain sailing.Just two meaningless advisories at this moment but ishould be rectified by a new owner soon (n/s front wheel bearing slight play and n/s front lower suspension arm ball joint slight play). I've decided to sell this car really reluctantly as unfortunately I've been away from the country since last December and I am not going to come back for good in the near future.SL has been under the cover with the two batteries disconnected and there's no point to keep it like this for unknown length of time hence this reluctant sale.Last time I visited UK for a few days I did MOT (6 months gap as wasn't present in UK).The car comes with two keys, service history, booklets and MB-4 Bluetooth upgrade adapter. The car's n/s quarter panel is dented, nothing major, it's not that visible and definitely can wait until the winter time is with us to rectify it.SL is also rust free, marked as N category.
