Description

2012 Jaguar XJ (X351) 3.0 V6 Portfolio Automatic 84,327 (Will go up slightly as I'm still enjoying it daily) Timing belt has just been done at 85,192. Unknown to me the belt was previously done no more that 12k ago (so my mechanic stated, due to the condition of the belt removed). Given how much was removed to get to this point it opted to continue with the replacement timing belt and pulleys. During this time I have the Air Conditioning compressor changed along with a re-gassed and 100amp bolt down fuse so the AC is ice cold. These two jobs alone have cost me over 700. The Drive & History This Jag drives brilliantly. It's got the 275bhp engine which is plenty of fun in 'Dynamic' or 'Sport' mode, but to be honest, I usually leave it in standardit feels totally glued to the road and just glides along. It's been well looked after with 9 services on the clock. With the last one being done at 81,729 miles. A lot of those covered very few miles as the previous owner was an older gentleman who barely used it towards the end of his ownership. For peace of mind, I've just had the idler pulleys, tensioner, and drive belt replaced two weeks ago. It stops, starts, and handles exactly how a big Jag should. At 82,522 the front pads and discs were replaced then at 83,451 2 new tires were purchased. Condition & Spec The Cashmere Gold paint looks stunning, especially paired with the Gun Metal alloys. It's in great shape for its age, though there is some light kerbing on the wheels. It's an easy, cheap fix if you want them perfect, but you honestly don't notice it unless you're looking for it. The interior is pure luxury and feels like a vault. No tears in the leather, and it's packed with the best bits: Bowers & Wilkins Sound System (If you know Jags, you know this is the one to have the sound is incredible). Fitted with a Teltonika GPS tracker, once the App is installed your up and running. Massage Seats (Heated and cooled). Heated Steering Wheel (Total gamechanger in winter). TV/DVD in the front. See image Sunroofs (Front and rear). XJL Rear Tables and Climate Control (Basically First Class in the back) DPF has been done which will ensure no costly surprises or the burden of limp mode popping up. This cost me 380. In addition I have had the suspension arms done on both sides along with the ball joints which is now visible on the MOT along with the SRS safety fault (grounding cable). This has cost in excess of 440. The SRS light show ghost code. 75 clear
