It shows 179,500 on the clock, but this is in kilometres - just over 111,000 miles. I never thought this would happen. The children have grown up and our Grand Hiace is no longer used as it once was. I imported the car from Japan in 2015 with 40,000 miles on the clock. Underbody rust protection (undersealing) was applied immediately, so there is no rust on the car. It has top specifications, including the rare cruise control, electric folding mirrors, front and rear parking sensors, rotatable and folding second-row seats, folding third-row seats, independent heating and air conditioning front and rear, pull-assist sliding rear doors, and two sunroofs. The car is currently fitted with five seats, but I have the third row and am happy to fit it for a potential buyer - it is just a few minutes' job. Soundproofing mats were fitted under the carpet in the boot after the third row was removed to make it quieter from this side. It is LPG converted, making it very smooth and enjoyable to drive. It has a 180 hp 5VZ-FE engine and is more economical than the diesel version. The same engine was fitted in Land Cruisers, so it is easy to source any service parts. It drives like a modern car. Last year, it had two new front tyres, a new rear spring, new rear brake discs and pads, and rocker cover gaskets replaced. The automatic gearbox has been serviced and I have a spare filter and ATF for the next service. New NGK long-life iridium spark plugs and leads were fitted 7,000 miles ago and will last over 60,000 miles, so there is plenty of life left.
