Selling my Mk4 Golf gti that I have kept in proud ownership for a few years. Car has been very well maintained and is a great example for its generation and mileage. Previous owner also took meticulous care of the car. I have decided to sell this as I no longer need a car, putting down a deposit for a house. Around 151,000 miles, however engine and clutch are in great condition. Compression test on each cylinder show it is healthy. A fair amount of work has been done to keep the car in good condition. Prior to my ownership it has had audi tt 18" alloys fitted with all season tyres, lowering springs, black recaro leather seats and a rear lip spoiler. I have since replaced the front right fender wing, replaced the starter motor and alternator cable, fuse box, pipercross panel air filter (still in air box), replaced PCV valve and cleaned the lines, replaced the purge valve, fuel lines, replaced the valve cover gaskets and cleaned it out and painted it. Fitted new spark plugs, both o2 sensors, fuel injector seals and fuel pressure regulator also. It has had an entire exhaust system replacement over the last year- replacing it with a 3" down pipe, high flow catalytic converter and 2.25" exhaust pipe to the rear with a resonator and 2.5" double barrel exhaust tips. Car has passed the mot with this fitted. Has 25th anniversary style front lip spoiler installed. Car is on factory map, in OEM+ style. Airbag light has been on throughout ownership- mechanics advised this would be a simple wiring fix that I havent got around to yet. Car runs and drives very well, often achieving 40mpg on motorways. Will be sad to see it go
