This carlike van has served as a dependable long distance vehicle for trips across Europe and Scotland. The mileage reflects mainly smooth motorway driving rather than short urban journeys, which is why it still feels great to drive. I've owned it since new (it may show as 2 owners because the first was the contract leasing company whom I leased then bought from), and it has been maintained with care throughout its life. It's genuinely a van I'm reluctant to part with! The only reason for selling is that a salary sacrifice scheme at my wife's work offered a new vehicle deal too good to ignore. - Full service history, nearly all but the last few with VW main dealer - Major service + MOT completed in May - Starts perfectly every time, even in cold weather - AdBlue system which reduces emissions significantly, removes DPF problems experienced in other diesels and achieves ULEZ compliance for inner city driving - Fairly new tyres with excellent tread and no signs of ageing - Bluetooth phone connectivity, handsfree calling, cruise control, parking sensors, and steering wheel controls for audio and phone functions. The infotainment system is simple, reliable and pairs instantly - Two keys, both with new fob batteries this year - Huge interior flexibility seats fold or can be fully removed for maximum load space. As a guide I am 6ft2 and can lie down comfortably in the back with plenty of head and foot space when rear seats removed - Extra storage space above head and under rear seat footwells - Feels surprisingly quick and very stable - Great candidate for a camper conversion Honest cosmetic notes (priced accordingly) Nothing mechanical known to worry about just a few cosmetic marks from normal use: - Minor exterior scrapes most of which should polish out - Rear internal aircon grills cracked (airflow unaffected) - Rear cup holder broken (on the central unit - never a problem) - Front passenger sunshade clip broken (still holds up out of the way) - Small crack in driver side speaker grille (sound unaffected) - Some seat discolouration (I'll clean as much as possible before sale) - Puncture wounds to rear boot panel - Mechanically, it has been extremely reliable and hardly ever put a foot wrong. It's a van that inspires confidence and has plenty of life left in it. Well worth a look!
