2006 Maserati Quattroporte 4.2 V8 - Ferrari-Derived V8 - Rare Colour - Exceptional Example. For sale is my pride and joy, a 2006 Maserati Quattroporte 4.2 V8 producing 400bhp, paired with the F1-style DuoSelect transmission. This is a genuine, low-mileage, low-owner example that has been exceptionally well cared for and is documented on my YouTube channel, G-MOTIVE, where my ownership and the work carried out can be seen. I bought the car because I fell in love with its timeless design and have spent the last year bringing it as close to perfect as possible while preserving its originality. Finished in the stunning and rare Bordeaux Pontevecchio with a full cream leather interior, it is one of the best colour combinations available and looks even better in person. Shortly after purchase, the car was fully inspected by an Italian car specialist, including a comprehensive mechanical inspection and diagnostic report. As these cars can suffer from subframe corrosion, I had the chassis thoroughly checked. It was completely solid, so I had the underside professionally treated with Dinitrol by authorised technicians to preserve it for years to come. Recent work includes professionally refurbished powder-coated alloy wheels, matching Pirelli P Zero tyres on all four corners and a service less than 2,000 miles ago. The F1 clutch has been measured at approximately 50% wear remaining, and I have always driven the car in manual mode to minimise clutch wear. Mechanically the car is superb. The Ferrari-derived V8, gearbox and Skyhook suspension all perform exactly as they should, with no faults. The brakes are excellent, and the car drives beautifully. The car comes with 2 keys, V5C in my name, a clear HPI report and an advisory-free MOT until February. It is always stored in my garage under blankets and kept on a CTEK battery charger. With fewer than 100 examples currently licensed on UK roads, and very few in this colour combination, these Quattroportes are becoming increasingly collectible.
