Description

Having recently upgraded to an FK8 Type R, it is time for my much-loved FN2 to find its next enthusiast owner! This is a genuinely exceptional example which has benefitted from significant recent expenditure and careful ownership by many. This car has been maintained regardless of cost by a Type R specialist mechanic and presents exceptionally well both cosmetically & mechanically. During my ownership alone, in excess of 5k has been invested into the vehicle, including a complete new Clutch. Full Air conditioning system. Refurbished 20 inch alloy wheels. New headlights. New tyres. New rear brake pads and discs. New front driveshaft, and a recent full service using genuine Honda OEM parts and fluids. Extensive invoices are available to support this work. Finished in stunning black, the paintwork retains a deep gloss and the interior remains in excellent condition for its age and mileage. The driver's seat, steering wheel, dashboard and controls all present extremely well and are a testament to how carefully the car has been looked after throughout its life. The K20 engine performs exactly as a Type R should, pulling strongly through the rev range and delivering the engaging driving experience these cars are renowned for. The gearbox, clutch, brakes and suspension all perform as they should, making this a car that is ready to be enjoyed immediately! While the vehicle has covered 119,000 miles, both the previous owner and I predominantly used the car for longer-distance journeys rather than short stop-start driving. As any Honda enthusiast will know, regular maintenance is far more important than mileage alone, and this car's condition and maintenance history speak for themselves. Supplied with service history, invoices, manuals and keys. This is not the cheapest FN2 on the market, nor is it intended to be. It is for somebody looking for a well-maintained, enthusiast-owned example that has already had substantial money invested into it. A future modern classic that is becoming increasingly difficult to find in this condition.
