My much loved MX5 is for sale. I bought this 3 years ago as a retirement car ( even though I won't retire for another 10 years) It has gone through extensive work to make it last. The real subframe was removed and powder coated so that it won't rust, the under chassic plate was Zinc coated, all the rods and joints were replaced. All the shock absorbers and springs were replaced (x4) It has been undersealed completely, and coated in Lanolin. The wheels have been refurbished and dont have a mark on them. The radio has been upgraded , so it now has Android Auto and Apple Auto. It has Dab Radio too , and all the steering wheel controls work as they should. ( it was done professionally) It runs as sweet as anything. Genuine reason for sale.... but, I do not actually have to sell so the price is the price. No Offers. This car has not been allowed out in the rain for the last 2 1/2 years since all the underside was renovated. I would prefer it to go to someone who intends to use it as a summer car also. It is 12 years old so does have a carpet scuff and a couple of very small paint blemishes but that's being very picky. It runs on Premium Unleaded. Any questions? Just ask.. Payment by bank transfer and proof of I.D will be required... It has just had an MOT at Halfords and they were gob smacked about the underside.. said it was like brand new. It was serviced last year at my local garage but I dont seem to have the paperwork for it. Its only done about 1500 miles since the last mot tho. Please also note that this car has had 2 of my personal number plates fitted to it while I have had it. I have removed the last one yesterday and am awaiting the V5 coming back for its original Registration number..
