Very reluctant sale of probably one of the best cars I have ever owned but due to my age and health issues I no longer need a vehicle of this calibre. Originally registered in September 2014 as a LandRover Management car I purchased it in March 2016 making me the second owner. The service history is held on-line by Land Rover and I have a copy of that detailing the services. The cam belt was changed at 58897 miles in June 2023 as per manufacturers recommendation. The Metropolis was one the last Freelanders produced and is powered by a 2.2L Turbo diesel engine and had almost every conceivable extra added some of which are as follows:- Cruise control, tilting and sliding sunroof, black leather interior, heated leather steering wheel, heated driver and passenger seats, both seats controlled electronically with a memory function, heated front and rear screens, air facility for the rapid demist of the front screen, dual area air conditioning/heating, wing mirrors automatically folding when the vehicle is locked, hill decent control, manual selection of 4 wheel drive for different terrains, Meridian radio system, carpet mats.
