BMWi3 Range Extender (REX) features a 94Ah (33 kWh) battery paired with a 650cc, 2-cylinder petrol generator. It provides around 125 miles of pure electric range, while the backup petrol engine adds approximately 60 to 80 miles of peace of mind to combat range anxiety.
