This 996 Carrera 4 represents the ideal starting point for a 3.7 engine rebuild. Having recently benefitted from a 17,000 overhaul at Cridfords Porsche Specialists, this 911 has come into George Edward Specialist Cars with bore score, requiring a full engine rebuild. The overhaul in September 2025 included major jobs such as both front shock absorbers, front top mounts, upper and lower rear control arms, front to back brake pipes, exhaust silencers, front differential and much more. Everything apart from the engine is in remarkable condition. The current owner had a Prior Design body kit fitted (sourced from Design 911), helping to elevate the look of this 996. As it currently stands, this 911 is drivable in its current condition, but we highly recommend commencing with an engine rebuild in the foreseeable future to avoid any further bore score related problems. Whilst the engine rebuild will take a few months to complete, it will be worth the wait to have a fully refurbished 911 at the end of it.
