This is the reluctant sale of my Golf R, which I have owned for about 2.5 years. We upgraded to a larger car following the arrival of our little one and I had kept this in the hope we would still be able to use it occasionally. Sadly, it just doesn't get used anymore and therefore I have made the tough decision to sell, allowing someone else to enjoy it as much as I have. The most recent MOT and service were carried out in February and there were two advisories. The first relates to a small oil leak, which I believe relates to the sump. The other relates to a wheel being distorted. I was planning to get these matters resolved and wheels refurbished or replaced with a new set, but as we have not been using the car I have not had an opportunity. Aside from these, the car is a dream and really enjoyable to drive. We have done many long journeys during our ownership and it has always been very reliable. It does have the odd age related scratch and mark, but as you can see in the photos, it still cleans up very well! If you have any questions then please reach out.
