After 15 fantastic years I have reluctantly decided to offer my 'keeper' Boxster S for sale. This is not the usual 986, this car has to be one of the best out there. This car is investment grade and values are rock solid to increasing on these now. Only 38k miles and the car has always been a 2nd (or 3rd / 4th car) so only used in fair weather and garaged throughout the year. Fantastic spec from the factory: - 2003 '53' plate (2004 model year, hence 2 year service intervals) - Steel Grey - Sport Chassis (M030) - Heated Sport seats (with Porsche crests) - Full black leather (inc. dash, door cards and even windscreen visors!) - BOSE - Litronics (xenon lights) - 18 inch Carrera wheels - Cruise control - On board computer - PSM (Stability control) - Techequipment gearlever and handbrake - 6 CD changer - 550 Anniversary exhaust tip (I also have the standard 'S' tailpipe as I prefer it!) - Child seat airbag deactivation bar fitted (can turn on or off passenger airbag as required) The spec is huge, and the best part (for you!) is that the car has benefitted from a full Hartech rebuild following IMS failure at 20k. As this car was a 'keeper' for me I had the engine fully stripped, rebuilt and future proofed for known weakness areas by Hartech. at a cost of over 7k (back in 2012!). Therefore it has the later design (larger) IMS bearing from post 2006 cars hence significantly reducing the risk of failure in the future. At the same time Hartech also rebuilt the heads and fitted a low temperature thermostat. Fantastic condition, all original paint from what I can tell so there are a few small stone chips on the front bumper, as would be expected for age / mileage. Genuine enquiries only please.
