Without doubt, the 400 SL, in my opinion, is the model to have in the SL range. I am the owner of a car garage, so I know when I see a car in great condition, this car was bought for my wife 3 yrs ago. I went and saw several different 400s, and this was by far the best. It has all the extras you would want, centre clock, rear air scarf, etc., etc., etc., plus definitely the best colour to have. It comes with a full service history, and we have had it over-serviced while it's been with us. My wife has been the only driver and has loved having it. It has the wider wheels fitted so they fill the wheel arches much better and also the rear lip spoiler fitted, which, while being small upgrades, make a massive difference to the looks of the car. The only reason we are selling is to upgrade to a newer model. You won't find a 400 in better condition than this, and it is well worth a viewing if you're after a 400.
