Description
I have been fortunate to own this car since January 2018, after purchasing from its second owner, where it had formed a part of a small collection of prestige cars. The vehicle's first owner, an Aston Martin enthusiast, traded in his DB7 on purchasing this car, first being registered on 17th April 2005 at a cost of 95,923, including 5,500 of optional extras (upgraded Linn 250w sound system and the magnificent non standard red leather interior , piano black trim, heated seats, cruise control, powerfold mirrors, rear parking sensors, satellite navigation, mobile phone kit and a tracker), making this DB9 unique.
The car has is sold with it's full history file including the original bill of sale and specification sheet along with various receipts for servicing and other works undertaken to the car since new.
The car has been serviced at an average of every 3,300miles at Aston Martin Reading, Chiltern Aston Centre (Specialist), Paramount Performance (Specialist) & during my ownership at Aston Martin Works and HWM Walton on Thames (Aston Martin's oldest dealership).
The car is treated with ACF-50 and very well maintained having had all the coil packs & spark plugs changed just 15,000 miles ago, a new radiator, the rear light units were replaced last September with brand new clear carbon black limited edition lights (misting had occurred in one of the original units), the headlining has been re-trimmed following it sagging (common DB9 issue), all the door, bonnet and boot gas struts have been replaced, it benefitted from a new heavy duty battery shortly after I purchased the vehicle in 2018, fuel cap actuator, all the brake pads (including hand brake) and sensors were replaced with Porterfield RS4 (far superior to the OEM, with reduced dust, better stopping and no squealing) and new rear parking sensors. The air conditioning system was re-gassed with a new compressor in May '23 and continues to cool the interior of the vehicle very effectively even in this summer heat!
The car is an absolute joy to drive & it feels like a special occasion whenever it's taken out. The vehicle has always been garaged (stored beneath a genuine Astone Martin DB9 car cover included) & is rarely used when the roads aren't dry. The overall condition of the car is excellent, mechanically. The bodywork & paint is impressive, save for some inevitable stone chips and the interior is as you would expect for an extremely well cared for & sparingly used supercar. Private plate excluded.
