For sale is my 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X FQ-300 SST, currently on 120,208 miles. This is a genuine UK FQ-300 SST model with Mitsubishi service stamps, Auto Torque specialist stamps/receipts, and strong maintenance history. The car has had important Evo X maintenance carried out, including the revised timing chain in 2022, AYC system fully refurbished in 2019, and major SST gearbox work carried out in 2025. The AYC is working as it should, the SST gearbox shifts smoothly, and the vehicle has no clunks or knocks present throughout the rev range. The SST gearbox has had new 10-plate clutch packs and a new shift fork fitted by Simon Norton, with +3% clamping pressure, along with SST re-teach/adaptation carried out. This is a major point for an SST Evo X, as the gearbox is one of the main areas buyers look at. The car has been meticulously cared for during my ownership, with early oil changes carried out every 2,000 miles. It has also had a new fuel pump relay, which is a common preventative maintenance item on Evo X models. It has also had recent suspension and underside maintenance, including new drop links, sway bar bushings, inner and outer tie rods, and diff bushings, helping keep the car feeling tight and well maintained. The car is currently tuned to around 350hp by Bob at Dynotech / Dynotech Hayes Engineering, a well-known tuner within the Evo community, and drives very well.
