Description
BMW 1 Series 118d SE, 2010 (59 plate), 165,115 miles
Selling my 118d SE in metallic blue. It's the 2.0 diesel manual, 5 door, Euro 5, 143ps. MOT runs until October 2026.
It drives really well and everything works as it should. No warning lights, no known faults, no nasty noises. The clutch feels good with plenty of life left. The timing chain was done at around 90k by a previous owner. I should be upfront that there's no stamp or note for it in the service book, so I'm going on what I was told, but the engine is quiet and runs as it should.
Service history is partial. I've got the driver's handbook, MOT certificates including the car's first one and all of my MOTs plus the last two from the previous owner, and service receipts including the first service. The full MOT history is also available online if you check the reg, which is why I've left it visible in the photos.
Condition is honest for the age and mileage. There are one or two small dents and a few scuffs in the paint here and there, and the alloys are kerbed in places, nothing structural or dangerous. The interior is in good shape, the only real wear is the steering wheel starting to show its age. Three of the tyres were bought new in the last couple of months and the fourth has around 6mm of tread, so you won't need to spend on rubber any time soon.
It's a cheap, reliable, comfortable diesel that's great on fuel for the miles it does, and it's only 35 a year to tax. I'm only selling because I've bought a petrol car that suits my shorter work commute better.
