Mercedes-Benz CLK55 AMG - 2004 Mileage: 133,300 miles For sale is my Mercedes CLK55 AMG. Overall, the car is in good condition for its age and drives absolutely faultlessly. The engine and gearbox are strong, and it performs exactly as an AMG V8 should. The roof works perfectly and operates without any issues. The car comes with two keys. This was my first AMG, and I've owned it for a number of years. It simply doesn't get used as much anymore, as I mainly drive my other cars, so the mileage hardly changes. With the summer weather here, it's the perfect time for someone else to enjoy this fantastic V8. Maintenance carried out includes: - Intake manifold rebuilt approximately 4 years ago (a common M113 issue due to deteriorating vacuum components). - All vacuum lines replaced. - Wheels professionally refurbished. - Propshaft centre support bearing replaced. - Propshaft flex disc (guibo/donut) replaced. - Regular servicing and maintenance carried out as required. As with most CLK models of this age, there are a couple of common issues. The glovebox latch needs attention, although I may be able to replace it if I source the part before the sale. There is also the usual air vent clunking, which is very common on these cars and does not affect the way it drives. The car is not perfect, as expected for a 2004 vehicle, and has normal age-related wear and tear. However, it is an honest example that drives very well and is ready to be enjoyed. A rare naturally aspirated AMG V8 that is becoming increasingly difficult to find.
