Drives Well - These Auto Polo's are c.£2,000 sold when right - This has BBS Alloys + great Tyres -** LIKELY/POSSIBLE HEAD GASKET PROBLEM, totally UNKNOWN but overheats after 30 odd mins from cold ** 1.4 ENGINE WITH SENSIBLE BODY WORK and EXCELLENT Tyres, nice BBS Alloys - DRIVES around fine, very driveable from cold , early stage gasket ?, Worth more in bits than £299, the transmission/gearbox is good - BARELY £100 OVER SCRAP VALUE ' DRIVING AROUND FROM COLD VERY WELL for the first 20/30 odd minutes - No oil & water mix - Drives around fine until gets hot and eventually overheats, looks useable for local journeys before break/repair - Best seen as part out car/dismantler/BREAKER - One to Break or one to fix swap engine in - Another Small-Auto - Very highly suspect gasket likely / but drives well from cold with good oil and a luke warm not entirely cold cabin, far too old for us to get involved with BUT MILES TOO GOOD TO SCRAP likewise, drives around fine from cold really well - Feels like drives too well to be gasket but likely is the gasket - Gearbox is excellent, engine is good and pulls strongly - ** Ideal breaker ** Be a bonus if only coolant problem, be it a blockage/pump/fan, likely gasket - Speedo is blank , not unusual for a Polo of this mark/generation. Unknown mileage, last MOT at 98000 miles, suspect around 105,000-109,000 miles area. Make a cheap local automatic local delivery vehicle with an MOT. This may well be an interesting project for someone or just PART out/dismantle for gearbox/parts. Seams miles too good to flat out break not attempt diagnosis and repair.
