Mini Hatch, John Cooper Works - a rare 2013 model - THE ONLY YEAR THE R56 JCW HAD THE NEWER, ALL IMPORTANT N18 ENGINE (search N14 reliability). In addition to being the most desirable model year, this car has had 1000's spent on engine /exhaust upgrades at Lohen (#1 Mini performance specialist in the UK). It is pulling around 270 HP, which, in a car so light and nimble, makes for THE MOST FUN you can have on the road for under 10k. During my ownership, the car has been serviced exclusively by 'The Mini Guy' in Birkenhead, a top-rated specialist. Oil changed every 2k miles to minimize wear. Previous owner also an enthusiast. FUNCTION: Mechanically & electrically, the car has been great throughout the time I've owned it (since 2022). Only issue I had - starter motor went, a new one was fitted. Consistent oil changes, Mini Guy serviced within the last 1000 miles. I've always paid for parts as advised and it is currently running fine. For sale as I have 2 cars and need to downsize to a single (bigger) car, or I'd love to keep this as it's the one to have. CONDITION: The bodywork is fair, considering the age of the car. There are a number of light scratches, especially on the bonnet and a couple on the doors. A scrape on the front bumper corner. I have shown the most notable flaws clearly in the photos and factored them into the price. Overall, the car does look tidy unless it's really being scrutinised. Inside, the car is clean and tidy, seats good. It has been used regularly though - being a 2013 car, there are clear signs/marks of the use as you would expect. Not low mileage but an honest car that has been reliable - not raced or red-lined (I'm a boring late-30s adult, not a boy racer), used mainly for commuting (10 mile journey) as it's nimble, light on fuel & great for parking. - Service history & 2 keys - CAT free & HPI clear Test drives ok with valid insurance only (I will confirm it with provider directly, or only I drive).
