Description

Porsche 987 Boxster S for sale. Reluctant sale of this great car that has been in regular use over the last 10 years. Originally registered in my wife's name in 2016 and transferred to me in 2021. It is a fantastic drivers car with great handling and decent storage for long tours or a supermarket shop. The car has been mostly used by my wife and has been very reliable, never having let us down. It has had a full respray around 5 years ago to rectify a number of age related chips and car park injury. It has not had any accident damage repair. The car has 3 Porsche stamps up to 56000 miles and 2 further stamps from an independent up to 77000. Since our ownership I have completed the brakes, fluid and filter servicing myself and I have also replaced the shock absorbers and lower front 'coffin' control arms due to worn ball joints. My local garage has replaced much of the copper brake lines and the front radiator coolant pipes which are a quite substantial piece of work due to the problems of corrosion welding together the dissimilar metals. The car has also had other minor items replaced as needed and has not wanted for anything since we've owned it. The wheels are 18" OZ Alleggerita in anthracite, correctly staggered with nearly new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres in the correct sizes. I have added wheel spacers to improve the stance of the car which are easily removed if preferred. 18" wheels work so much better than the optional 19" on our UK roads I find. There is a set of the original 18" alloys fitted with winter tyres that are in very good condition available by negotiation and turn this car into a surreally accomplished snow vehicle but are also fantastic whenever the temperatures drop towards zero. The interior is blue extended leather which is in good shape with minor colour worn on the driver's outside bolster. The leather has been conditioned regularly. I have replaced the Porsche floor mats with a pair of aftermarket mats to tidy the interior, the carpet beneath is spotless. The hood is in good condition. It has had annual deep clean and fabsil treatment but has some fading. It folds, stows and unfolds as it should. Boot and frunk carpet is in great condition too. Down points are the interior plastic painted components show some scratches and the rubber stereo and climate buttons are smudged as is usual on this era Porsche. There is also a small rust scab on the nsr arch as pictured. Personal plate is retained. Anything else, please ask.
