Description

After much soul searching I'm finally selling my beloved SWB Defender 90 Td5. I have maintained this vehicle over the last ten years with OEM parts and it's as close to original as you will find. I have only upgraded items to make this car more enjoyable to drive including: Stage 1 Map by JE Engineering. Slik shift added to make gear changes a shorter reach Central cubby box for storage MUD cargo upgrade in rear with nets for storage LED lights for brighter and more reliable lighting but I have the original lights which are included in the sale. I have a brand new anti roll bar (Not fitted but included in the sale) A large box of spare fuses, screws, upholstery clips etc (Included in the sale) Over the years I have had the bottom of the doors, B pillars and both floor pans professionally welded and repaired. The bulkhead is immaculate with absolutely no issues EGR deleted but the original EGR valve is included in the sale New door hinges and Landrover rubber cargo mat Recently serviced with oil change Chassis professionally treated and coated with Dinitrol Both front swivel housings replaced recently Recent new battery fitted and starts on the key first time every time Immobiliser on the key and further security devices fitted. I am a pensioner and this is my daily drive, my only reason for sale is that I have had a decade of motoring in this fantastic car but now want something a little more sedate with electric windows and air conditioning. I have a number of new spare parts that I will include in the sale. This Landrover is in superb order and has attracted a lot of interest from admirers of the brand. The only issue I know of is a small weep of oil possibly from the rear crank seal and if you're jet washing it you may get a few drips of water through the top of the doors inside the car. Anyone who knows old Defenders will know these are perfectly normal idiosyncrasies for this vehicle. This car has been maintained by Town & Country Landrover and Comptons of Cubbington over the last decade. I welcome any test drive by holders of a full driving licence and the insurance cover to do so. There is a private plate on the vehicle that I will retain but have the original plates for the new owner. Please feel free to make any enquiries through this website and I will endeavour to answer all of your questions. This Landy is a fantastic example of its type and has never been off roaded by me since I've been the keeper.
