Description

Hello everybody, Here for sale is my father's gleaming Skoda Yeti. 47k miles from new with documented service history. Just had major service at Skoda main dealer. Four new tyres fitted. Just had new brake discs and pads to all four corners. 12 months MOT with no advisories. Cambelt done. DSG gearbox service done. Air-con is nice and cold! We have known the car from new because it was previously owned by my dad's mate. Both he and my dad are active, but in their 70s, so rest assured that is has been respectfully driven and well maintained. It has also been used quite a bit on motorways, so its 47k miles have not been hard. It has a towbar that was fitted during our ownership, so I can assure that it has not towed anything heavier than my dad's gardening trailer. Dad always needed something all wheel drive because the steep drive at his previous home was treacherous in the autumn when the leaves came down from the large trees in the surrounding garden. The Yeti handled this with ease, where a two-wheel drive would become a scary, wheel-spinning liability. He has now downsized to a bungalow near me. He and my mother are just going to keep one car and she prefers her old Land Rover. This would not be my recommendation because the Yeti is far newer, thoroughly reliable, MUCH better on fuel and generally the better car, but you know how it is This car has never been repanelled or painted. Never been bumped or flooded. Not been used off-road or near sea water. The wheels are not kerbed, and the beautiful metallic paint has very few marks and is bright and shiny. I include a photo of an example of a couple of scrapes to the corner of the front bumper. It is ABS plastic, so not a rusting issue. Just the unavoidables of actual use, but too small to do anything with, in my humble opinion. These cars really hold their value as they are in short supply. People are holding on to them because they do what the latest cars don't: easy to maintain, cheap to run, long distance fuel range, unaffected by winter weather. Please feel free to have a look. Fuller description available on a certain world wide auction site. Best of luck. David.
