Description
This has been our family bus since January 2020; selling simply for changing needs, rather than any problem with it. Helpfully, whilst prepping for sale, my wife had an argument with a low wall, hence the scrape in the photos. For info, we get about 31-32mpg around town but 40-42mpg on a long drive sticking at 60mph.
Otherwise, it's in fair condition for its age and mileage, as to be expected for a family vehicle. I've photographed the main aesthetic things. It's been a great vehicle for the family, lugging us around and the space in the boot even with 9 in is brilliant. The vents in the back are great, all still working (the photographed one that has fallen victim to too much fiddling still works, just you can't change the direction.
It has a CD player and sat nav (although we haven't used the sat nav in years thanks to phones). 2 x 12v sockets in the front and 2 in the rear, for those seated in the back. Phones connect via Bluetooth fine for music/podcasts/etc.
Mechanically it's had a lot done whilst we've owned it; water pump, head gasket, clutch master cylinder and the usual suspension bits and bobs. From what I understand, most of what has been done is expected for transporters over 100k miles. After we had it valeted for sale a warning light popped up (!) which turned out to be a sensor on a wheel bearing - this has been sorted. It's had a tailgate replacement after a disagreement with a skip on the drive.
The towbar was installed two years ago. It's only ever towed a small trailer to the tip or had a bike rack on it.
Happy to view at our house (Lichfield), but I work in Derby and Loughborough, so if it suits I could meet you on the commute route also.
