We're selling our 2010 BMW 118i as we've recently purchased another car. The car has covered 92,505 miles and has an MOT until February 2027. It starts, runs and drives well and has been a dependable car for us. A few years ago the engine was professionally rebuilt. Since then, it has developed an issue where it consumes oil and requires regular top-ups. We've had it checked by our mechanic on several occasions and no external oil leaks or sensor faults were found. Their opinion is that the engine is burning oil internally. We've continued to use the car without any problems by checking and topping up the oil as required. We're being completely transparent about this known issue, and the price reflects it.
