Description

I have owned this car since August 2023, during which time it has covered around 15,000 miles. I have a small collection of modern classics, but I've decided I'm after more of a project car, so it's time for the Saab to find a new owner. -Professionally remapped to approximately 320bhp (prior to my ownership). -Engine is exceptionally smooth with no timing chain rattle. Cold start video available. -Recently serviced (December) by a Saab specialist in Shrewsbury. -Advisory-free MOT. -No engine management light during my ownership. One of the rare examples featuring the facelift interior with the original exterior - giving the best of both worlds. In April the car received brand new Sparco 18" alloy wheels, brand new Yokohama tyres, plus new front discs and pads. The previous 17" wheels simply needed refurbishment. The facelift interior has avoided the usual soft-touch button wear. Apart from the glovebox button (photographed), the switches are in excellent condition. All windows work correctly. Regarding the common rust areas, I've deliberately left the inner arches untouched rather than covering anything up. They've simply been kept clean and dry, and I've photographed them honestly so you can make your own judgement. I believe original, honest bodywork is preferable to fresh paint hiding what's underneath. The exterior has black Saab badges fitted, along with a black grille imported from Sweden rather than simply spray-painted. It gives the car a much more modern look and always attracts positive comments. The car spent many years within the same family, with ownership transferred between relatives (reflected by the service invoices). It was then sold to a mechanic in Newcastle, from whom I purchased it. In 2022 it received a gearbox service and new coil packs. These V6 Aeros have become increasingly sought after, and finding a manual example with this specification is becoming genuinely difficult. They are incredibly capable motorway cars, effortless to drive, and still surprisingly practical. Please note: Price is firm. I own five cars and am in no rush to sell this one. If it doesn't achieve what I believe it's worth, I'll happily keep it and sell something else instead. Happy to take serious buyers for a drive. I won't be allowing test drives, with or without insurance. I'd suggest viewing only if you're already familiar with these cars and understand how rare this particular specification has become.
