Toyota Aygo - Cheap to Run, Reliable First Car (Luton) Great little Toyota Aygo, ideal for a first-time driver, city driving, or anyone looking for a very economical and easy-to-maintain car. It is extremely cheap to run with low road tax and excellent fuel economy - you can comfortably fill the tank for around 40, making it perfect for daily commuting and low-cost driving. The car has been in the family for around 10 years and has been a reliable and practical vehicle throughout that time. The engine runs well and starts without issue, and it drives smoothly with no mechanical problems affecting performance. It is very easy to park and handle, making it especially suitable for new drivers. All tyres have recently been changed and are in good condition. The brakes have been replaced and the handbrake is working properly. All lights and indicators are fully functional, and bulbs have been replaced where needed. The MOT is currently passed with no issues affecting road legality. The interior is clean and generally well kept for its age. Externally, there are some age-related marks including scratches, small dents, light rust in places, and minor cosmetic wear. There is also a small area of mould inside which can be cleaned/treated. In addition, there is a crack on the front windscreen on the passenger side; however, it does not obstruct the driver's view and the vehicle has passed MOT with no issues relating to it. None of these cosmetic issues affect the driving performance. There are a couple of known issues: Driver-side window can sometimes come out of alignment when going up and may need adjusting. Driver-side lock does not work with the key (central locking/key fob not functioning). Passenger-side lock works and two keys are included. Bonnet requires a specific method to open. Boot opens and closes normally. Overall, this is a very economical and reliable car with low running costs, ideal as a runaround or first car.
