I have owned my lovely Lapis Grey Figaro (Roddy) since September 2009. However my husband has a serious illness and we have both decided to simplify our lives and so sadly, are going to sell him. As you will see from the photos, over so many years, he has become tired and we don't feel, with my husband's situation, that we can undertake the work and would like to allow someone else to carry on his legacy. We have had him valued for insurance by the Figaro Owners Club at 5,250stg (have certificate) but accept a sale value is lower. So I have tried to list as many of the areas that we see issues with that were all included in the valuation assessment. 1) Right hand bumper end (we purchased a second hand replacement from TH Figaro Shop, to be fitted) 2) Both door locks are very stiff, so we don't use them and the driver side button has lost its top. (we have a Thatcham alarm fitted as required by insurer some years ago) 3) The left rear quarter was re-sprayed some years ago (I think because looked poor around the filler cap), but it has cracked and greyed and needs re-spraying 4) The left window has stopped working recently (with either button) 5) The roof needs replacing but watertight still even though slightly torn. (a common issue I hear and I had thought of taking to the Soft Top Shop at Stockport who would do for 650) 6) The bottoms of the rear lights have lost some silver (water lying in I presume) 7) The wing mirror backs need painting 8) The radio works but the volume knob is not secure and the tuning one wobbles a bit 9) The back seat has crack in top (assume from sun) 10) The revometer only works randomly (assume a loose wire) 11) The sun-visors are mouldy underneath 12) The speakers are rusty as is the base of the ariel Roddy starts and runs perfectly (Figaro's are quite slow!!!) and always has. I have taken lots of photos for you and am happy to send more if you needed. We have a spare full new exhaust , and an official Figaro Shop cover which is one year old (200stg)
