Description

2014 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque 2.2 SD4 Pure Tech 4x4 One of the last Land Rovers produced with an engine you can trust; the 2.2 SD4, 190BHP and with zero mechanical issues or design flaws it is the best out of the lot. Coupled with the super reliable and tried and tested 6 speed manual gearbox, it is really nice to drive, offering power in every gear and very respectable fuel consumption figure, much better than the auto, I have seen 40MPG+ on a run. It also falls into a low tax bracket, under 20/month so it's a fairly cheap little mini SUV really. This particular example benefits from full-service history, this year's highlights being new battery, coil spring, full service and the all-important cam belt and water pump, renewed just last month, so all in super fit health with no worries. It is also MOTd until May 2027 so is ready to be enjoyed right away. A well specified car, sort of middle of the range, being the Pure Tech, so all the usual goodies along with the desirable and very impressive full length pan roof with sunblind and the upgraded Meridian sound system so a great package all round. Having only had 2 previous keepers before me is a good thing, the last for 8 years, used as a daily motorway commuter, hence the slightly higher than average miles, but 100k on a motorway does far less damage to a diesel engine than 60k around town for sure. Only being in my ownership for a couple of months sadly, the opportunity to have an upgrade from a family member who is retiring from driving forces a reluctant sale. Finished in the best colour combination, Firenze red, a real deep metallic red with the contrasting gloss black roof, it looks stunning and always gets flattering remarks. Being a rarer 3 door, it's a true Land Rover Coupe, much closer to the original concept car from 2008, the LRX, you are basically driving a road going concept car, something the 5 door version lost a little sadly. The car sits on 12 month old matching Good Year JLR SUV tyres, specifically designed for this vehicle and still remain with excellent tread and no damage as per photos. Attractive 19+ alloy wheels make it really stand out, with only 2 areas of minor kerb rash on one wheel. A brand-new tow bar has been professionally installed at a large cost and used once! Oh well my loss is someone else's gain there. Useful for a little trailer, bike rack or even caravan! Comes with 2 working remote keys, original handbooks & service history.
