It runs well, it's reliable, and if you're after a vehicle that'll do heavy lifting and long runs, it's a solid choice. What you need to know: - Small oil leak, likely from the head gasket according to our mechanic. Steel seal has been added at last MOT to help manage it. On shorter runs you might occasionally see a bit of smoke when the engine's under load, which clears once it cools down. On longer runs it's generally not an issue. We've priced it to account for a professional repair if you choose to do it. - Air conditioning has a leak somewhere in the system, possibly the condenser. A professional garage can diagnose and repair. Was never an issue for us. - Front passenger headlight is the only MOT advisory. Easy to source and replace, and plenty of time with the MOT running until June 2027. - Minor crack on the plastic panel at the side of the driver's seat. Purely cosmetic, doesn't affect any controls. The good stuff: - Runs and drives well - 30-35 mpg on a run, decent for a vehicle of this size - Fresh oil just added - Service history on file, due a service soon - Automatic gearbox, which is rarer in Rangers - Manual hydraulic lid on the back of the cab with its own key - Some service history from me and previous owner, including details on additional work and maintenance done including NEW front break pads last year (2025) and cleaned drums on the back. - Two keys to the vehicle Before you buy: The truck is still in use while listed, so mileage will increase slightly before handover, typically five to eight hundred miles a month.
