Description
Here at DMB Collection, we are delighted to market this 1967 Fiat 500 (F). Presented in incredible condition, this is your chance to own an iconic classic car. Having been cherished by very few owners, this example features a detailed service history, and all round, has been well cared for. Imported into the UK in 2013, this Fiat, has been kept and maintained by 2 total owners, the first one having imported the vehicle into the UK to which it was kept until February 2025, where we then completed a sale to a local collector, before the car has arrived with us, once again for sale.
The Fiat 500 F spans two periods of 500 production, the D and the L. As such, it is the most frequently misidentified model. Between 1965 and 1969 the F carried the same badging as the D, but the two models are distinguishable by the positioning of their door hinges. The D has "suicide doors": the F, produced from June 1965, at last featured front-hinged doors. Typically the Classic Fiat 500's were fitted with an underpowered 499cc–594cc engine, however this example benefits from the more robust 652cc twin cylinder air cooled unit from the Fiat 126. This significantly improves drivability, keeping up with modern traffic while maintaining the car's vintage aesthetics.
