This is my MX5-NC PRHT Sport Tech that I have owned for 7 years. I am only selling it now as I am collecting a new car which will replace the Mazda. During my ownership it has covered very little in the way of miles and despite the suspension upgrades , never been on a race track. Standard specification includes heated seats, cruise control, Bose sound system, LSD and steering wheel controls. In addition I have added a number of additional features and accessories to enhance the performance and comfort of the car, these include; Adjustable Meister R suspension. Once fitted this was then professionally set up by reknown specialist - The String Theory Garage in Stratford upon Avon. Geometry was set for fast road and track but without losing comfort on bumpier B roads. The corner weights were all adjusted so that the wheel loads were optimised for a single occupant, but again, no loss of performance when carrying a passenger. Vented and slotted brake discs front and rear. New brake disc shields (these often corrode and are not always easy to source). Callipers painted to match car (rear callipers were new 2,000 miles ago). Braided brake hoses for improved brake pedal feel. New suspension bushes. Some new suspension links. Quick Roof (can open and close up to 30mph with single touch of switch). Short shift gear lever (standard one is available and will be included). Lowered driver and passenger seats but retaining full movement and height adjustment. Intermittent wiper (from an RX7). Tyres new 2,500 miles ago Yokohama Advan 205x45. New clutch 2,000 miles ago. All the transmission, engine fluids and filters renewed. Underfloor was stripped back to the original paint, areas of surface rust treated and then re-coated with modern anti corrosion and anti chip underfloor coatings (see before & after photos). A new gearbox heat shield was manufactured and installed (these are no longer available and often fall apart after about 15 years causing rattles and loss of heat protection to the passenger compartment). New differential output shaft seals. Full width wind deflector. Pure DAB radio kit fitted with phone connection kit. LED lights all round. Lighting upgraded so car now has daylight running lamps. Finally, included in the sale is the custom softcover and the OE rain cover. This was going to be the year when I refurbished the wheels and deal with the small dent (from a child's cycle pedal) in the passenger door but the new car has arrived!
