I've owned this BMW 640d for several years and it's been consistently reliable. I originally planned to keep it for the next decade it's that good but my job is changing and I no longer need a long distance diesel now that I've moved to an EV. It's in very good condition for its age and mileage, and has recently had a new timing chain, oil level sensor, and several other preventative maintenance items completed, so it's fully up to date mechanically. It comes with 2 keys and partial service history, with all major work already taken care of. The 640d is a very powerful, smooth and superb handling car, perfect for motorway driving. It consistently returns 45+ MPG on long runs and has always been well looked after. A solid, fast, economical GT with all the expensive jobs already done.
