Description
With only 10,145 miles recorded at its January 2026 MOT, this early Aston Martin DB9 stands apart from the vast majority on the market. Finished in Tungsten Silver over Falcon Grey leather, it was ordered in August 2006, supplied new by Harwoods of Sussex in March 2007, first delivered to Mr T Gill and has had just one previous keeper.
The history file is exactly what you would hope to find with a low mileage Aston Martin of this calibre. It includes the original owner's book pack, original bill of sale and a comprehensive service record supported by invoices. Servicing is recorded with Harwoods in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2013 and 2016, followed by Aston Martin Walton on Thames in 2019 and 2020, Aston Martin Nottingham in 2021 and AM Works Service, Newport Pagnell in 2023.
The more recent history is especially reassuring. In 2020 the car received new tyres and rims via HWM, while in 2023 AM Works Service treated the underside with Lanoguard. Since then the car has been kept in private or professional storage, exactly the sort of life you would hope for from a carefully preserved V12 grand tourer.
The vehicle history report does flag a small mileage discrepancy, where the odometer appears to reduce by 199 miles between June 2018 and February 2019, however the report itself attributes this to a DVLA mileage entry being rounded to the nearest thousand rather than any genuine issue. The wider mileage record fully supports that explanation, showing a consistent pattern of very light use throughout its life.
And that is what makes this DB9 so appealing. Early DB9s remain one of the most attractive ways into hand-built Aston Martin ownership, but the market is increasingly selective. Colour matters. Ownership matters. Provenance matters. Maintenance matters. Low mileage matters. When all of those things come together, the best cars stand well clear of the ordinary ones.
Tungsten Silver over Falcon Grey is a timeless combination, the ownership story is pleasingly restrained and the history file is substantial. Above all, this feels like a DB9 that has been preserved and appreciated properly, not simply used and passed around.
A beautifully presented, exceptionally low mileage example with superb supporting history.
