Spares or Repair 2006 Peugeot 1007 1.4 Petrol (SensoDrive) * 84,000 miles * MOT until 25/02/2027 * Complete car * Used daily until the fault occurred (commuting, shopping, etc.) * Engine was running perfectly before the gearbox fault. The car is being sold as spares or repair because it currently does not start. The dashboard displays "-" instead of "N", so the gearbox does not authorise engine start. Initially the fault only appeared when the car was hot, showing "Automatic Gearbox Faulty". Once it cooled down, it drove normally again. Unfortunately the fault has since become permanent. The following has already been attempted: * clutch actuator inspected/regenerated, * replacement clutch actuator tested, * diagnostic checks carried out using Launch diagnostic equipment. The car is complete and will need further diagnosis or repair. It would make a good project for someone familiar with the PSA SensoDrive system or an excellent donor vehicle for parts.
