Description
This Focus was owned from new by a pensioner that only used to for local journeys, hence the low mileage. I have inherited it, used it occasionally over the past year and am now seeking to sell it (it's part of an estate).
With a 1.0 litre engine that feels bigger, this is a ULEZ friendly, rust-free, comfy driver that has an MOT until late April 2027 and many good years left in it.
ABS, Air Con, heated front seats, front and rear parking sensors, CD/Radio system, USB socket. Nothing is non-functional or faulty with this vehicle.
Over the past two years there have been a number of mechanical jobs done to repair things that you'd have expected to repair much earlier.
Recent service history:
December 2024 - new front passenger side bearing. No receipt/invoice.
March 2025 - Brake fluid change, replaced front brake discs and pads. Replaced front suspension arms. Receipt/invoice provided.
April 2026 - MOT pass. Repairs to damage caused by hitting a pothole and breaking the front driver's side suspension. Coil spring, top mount and anti-roll bar have been replaced. New front wiper blades. Receipt/invoice provided.
June 2026 - following the suspension breakage, front discs and pads replaced (again) to correct braking concerns that resulted from suspension break in April. Intermediate service (oil and filter). Front bonnet catch replacement. New ABS sensor for rear drivers side wheel. Diagnostics checkup. New rear tyres. Receipt/invoice provided.
Another significant, common issue with these cars that has been resolved is the tendency for the rear roof panel bonding to fail, leading to water leaking inside the car and spreading via the rear seats and carpet. Panels have been re-bonded under the rear boot hinges.
It's only ever been in a minor collision while parking at a supermarket 4 or 5 years ago - there's a small line of damage to the rear bumper from a collision with a tow bar on a protruding pick up truck.
