Description

Citroen C1 VTR+ 2010 Automatic A stunning example of a C1. Having looked at many 108/Aygo/C1s, the majority were high milage and frankly overpriced. I found this by chance which honestly had been owned by a 'little old lady. She bought it new from Slip End (near Luton) Citroen in 2010 and had it serviced yearly until 2019. At this point she decided to stop driving, due to her age. There it sat in a heated garage until I purchased it. Prior to driving it to Hampshire from the Luton area, I got it MOT'd and oil serviced. On arrival in Hants, I had a major service done on it inc all the oils. I had new wipers, four Nexen tyres that have done about 500 miles. Since then, it has been serviced and MOT'd, I have the receipts. How many 16 year old cars have passed every single MOT and NEVER had an advisory? The car drives superbly well, no issues whatsoever and the only reason I am selling, is that my daughter who owns if, has been diagnosed with a medical condition that means that the DVLA have removed her licence :( I doubt you will find another C1/108/Aygo so well looked after and with such low genuine mileage. I have most of the service history, only lacking the initial few years, as the supplying/servicing dealer had updated their computers. Earlier invoices on an old and not used system The owner unfortunately had misplaced the invoices and service book, but I have copies of the bills. Give Slip End Motors a ring, they will confirm is was loving looked after from new. It sadly does not have the period number plates from the supplying Citroen dealer, as the previous owner had a private plate which was not sold with the car to my daughter. I was aware that the fuel gauge had been replaced, in fact the entire speedo cluster was replaced, so the mileage on the Speedo currently reads 1135 miles. I have the invoice and I spoke with the Citroen dealership that completed the work and they confirm that the milage before swapping the speedo was 13313. The car has NOT been clocked! Mileage now shows 1187, MOTs available on line also reflect this as will any reputable car checking app. The car has covered 14,500 miles in total over 16 years. To be honest, the car looks like it is two years old, so if you are worried about the speedo swap, I have the invoices and the car speaks for itself. It really does not look like a 2010 plate. This car is absolutely ideal to learn to drive in, being low insurance group and also a rare automatic!
