Very reluctant sale of our beloved BMW 118i M Sport Shadow Edition finished in Estoril Blue Metallic with Black Dakota leather interior. We are the second owners of the car, having purchased it three years ago from Cotswold BMW, who originally supplied it new to a local lady. The car is only being sold due to the arrival of a company car. We have maintained this BMW to an exceptionally high standard as we originally intended to keep it long term. The paintwork is in outstanding condition, having only ever been hand washed during our ownership, and there are no car park dents or door dings on the bodywork. It has a small mark on the boot lid which will be easy to repair. The alloy wheels were professionally refurbished and painted gloss black by BMW when we purchased the vehicle. As a Shadow Edition, the car benefits from a number of desirable factory upgrades, including: Black kidney grilles High-gloss black exterior trim Sun protection glass M Sport braking system Inside, the specification includes: Full black leather interior Heated front seats Harman Kardon premium audio system Satellite navigation DAB radio Bluetooth connectivity Cruise control Electrically adjustable seat side bolsters This car is fitted with the desirable automatic gearbox, including Sport mode. The 118i engine provides an excellent balance of performance and economy, comfortably achieving around 400 miles from a tank of fuel in our experience. The car has predominantly been used by my wife for motorway commuting, so it has enjoyed a relatively easy life. Naturally, there are a few minor stone chips to the front end consistent with age and mileage. There is currently a chip in the windscreen; however, this will be replaced prior to sale. There is also a small mark on the boot lid which could be repaired easily if desired. The car passed its MOT on 3 July and has also recently received new rear brake pads and a brake fluid service, with receipts available as proof. The next scheduled service is not due until next year, as shown in the photos. The car is fitted with Bridgestone run-flat tyres all round, in keeping with the original factory specification. Overall, this is a superb example of the final F20 LCI model, the last rear-wheel-drive 1 Series. In my opinion, it is the best-looking version produced and is becoming increasingly sought after by enthusiasts. Any inspection is welcome. The car wants for nothing and is ready to be enjoyed by its next owner.
