At 107,000 miles, the naturally aspirated V8 engine still has plenty of life left in it and drives exactly as it should. I love the car, highly capable luxury SUV, but it currently requires some troubleshooting and TLC, so it is being sold as-is as a project or for spares/repairs. The Good Powerful and increasingly rare 4.2L V8 Petrol engine. Solid underlying mechanics and drivetrain. The Issues (Honest Listing) The car has suffered from the common Q7 drainage issues in the sunroof drains (now repaired), which has led to a few knock-on the MMI System. Door Seals: The waterproof seal on the door is peeling away at the bottom. Boot Struts: The hydraulic tailgate struts are tired and not strong enough to hold/open the boot properly. Audio: Front passenger speaker is blown. Petrol Cap: Doesn't currently lock shut (likely just needs a thorough cleaning and lubrication). Summary This is a brillianT car for someone willing to clear the drains, dry it out, and replace a few modules. Because I do not have the time to resolve these issues, I am letting it go cheap.
