Bought in March. Previous owner kept it stored in a climate controlled storage unit and drove it rarely and the owner before that was a big Jag enthusiast. MOT'd until March 2027. Passed with 1 advisory (intermittent washer jet) which has since been fixed. The car has only done 10k miles since 2015. Mechanically the car is in overall good condition and most importantly for any future XK8 owner the engine has been replaced with one that has steel cylinder liners AND it has Gen 3 (metal) timing chain tensioners. So the 2 biggest reliability issues associated with this car are already sorted. Cosmetically there are a few snags. There is a scrape on the right side of the front bumper but no major damage (hit by an Uber Eats driver while parked, typical), and some minor corrosion on the real wheel arches. The front windscreen also has a crack on the passenger side but the heated window still works. I've driven it daily since March (about 1500 miles total) and it's lovely.
