Description

Range Rover L322 4.4 TDV8 - Sumatra Black - 153,000 Miles - MOT Jan 27 This is a genuinely reluctant sale of my much-loved Range Rover L322 4.4 TDV8, finished in Sumatra Black. I've owned and looked after this vehicle with care, and it's been an absolute pleasure to drive. If you know these late L322s, you'll know they're regarded by many as the best of the breed. The 4.4 TDV8 engine paired with the 8-speed automatic gearbox makes for an effortless drive, whether you're cruising on the motorway or just enjoying a weekend trip. Even with 153,000 miles, it still drives beautifully and feels every bit as refined as you'd expect. I'm quite particular about maintaining my vehicles, so rather than just doing the minimum, I've kept on top of the servicing and preventative maintenance. Recently I've carried out: Full engine service with fresh oil and filters. Front differential oil changed. Rear differential oil changed. Transfer case oil changed. Genuine upgrade air intake "donut" fitted from L405 (correct part number). Full engine carbon clean. It's also sitting on a full set of 22-inch alloys with matching Pirelli Scorpion tyres, all with around 5mm or more of tread remaining, so there's plenty of life left in them. The Sumatra Black paintwork really suits the L322 and gives it a timeless look. It still gets compliments and has the sort of presence that modern SUVs struggle to match hard to believe its 24 years old. On the rear upper tail lift the weak point for rust has been replaced with a stainless steel plate (previous owner). the paint job is not the best but I'm sure some magician could sort. This isn't a brand-new car, and at 153,000 miles it has been enjoyed as it was built to be. But it's been cared for properly and drives exactly as it should. I'd much rather it went to someone who appreciates these vehicles as much as I have. They really are becoming modern classics, and good, well-maintained examples are getting harder to find. If you have any questions or would like to come and see it, feel free to get in touch. Any inspection is welcome, and I'm confident the first genuine buyer to drive it will see why I've enjoyed owning it so much. really wish I didn't have to sell but I can't justify keeping it as a hobby. Get in touch I would consider a decent estate car as a swap and welcome any offers.
