Description
For sale is my 2003 Carbon Black BMW M3. I purchased this car in April 2023 but have recently started increasing my mileage and need something more suited to being a daily.
Top spec shown by the full button cluster in the centre console. This includes the rare rear blind option.
Ridiculously thick and meticulous folder of history showing all work done and servicing over the years.
Recent 4k spend at Spartan Automotive including the Inspection 2 service. Rear brake hard lines replaced with brand new OEM as well as brake fluid service. Diff input seal replaced. Windows realigned. New folding wing mirror motor. New track rod assemblies and four wheel alignment.
Previous owner maintained the vehicle at Redish Motorsport and carried out a replacement of the rod bearings using ACL bearings, as well as a valve clearance adjustment as per inspection 1 service. This was done at 111,358mls. The previous owner noted that Redish did assess the Vanos and believed it to be in good enough condition not to need a rebuild (which you can tell by how smooth the car idles).
The subframe was also reinforced by another previous owner at Redish Motorsport using their RACP plates in September 2015.
The vehicle is subtly modified including CSL style wheels with spacers, a carbon Eventuri intake (1000ish), a Supersprint lightweight race back box (2000ish), BC racing coilovers (1000ish), Eibach rear camber arms (270ish), H&R front and rear roll bars (450ish). Obviously I know modifications don't recoup their full value, but I do think these modifications do add at least a little value compared to stock.
Body work is in good condition for it's age. There are some stone chips on the front end, but i have had the the front bumper resprayed due to this. The wheels are still fresh with no marks from a recent refurb.
