Description

BMW E70 S.E 3.0D 238BHP This X5 comes loaded with the legendary bullet proof 3.0D M57 engine if you know these Engines then it needs no explanation. I've not owned the car long, after owning the X5 for a short period of time, I've decided that the 3 series is where my heart is. I bought the X5 in hopes to keep it, so I will list all the work carried out in my ownership: New Massimo Tyres all round and an alignment at 125K miles. All BMW safety recalls carried out at Virtu BMW, Front Passenger side and Front Driver's side Air bags replaced at 125K miles. Fuel treatment carried out at Virtu Motors while the BMW recall was being worked at 125K miles. Engine was serviced at 125K miles, Air filter, Oil filter and Cabin filter replaced with Castrol Magna-tech 5W-40 oil with a new Sump plug. Full Gearbox Service by BMW specialist at Bavaria Motors LTD at 126K miles. Car had been converted to coil springs at the rear and had the "Level Control System Failure" professionally coded out at Bavaria Motors Ltd at 126K. New passenger side Shock Absorber and Top mount fitted at 126K. All work carried out in my ownership has been documented and I own the proof, however the below is the listed work the previous owner had carried out just before I bought it, I don't have any documentation on it, but you can see on inspection that the work has been carried out. Worked carried out by previous owner just before I bought the car: New Front brake discs and pads at 125K miles. New Rear brake pads at 125K miles. Car was converted to rear coil springs, not sure when. Passenger side Coil Spring replaced at 125K miles (I have an invoice for the part). MOT expires on the 29/05/2027 The car does have age related marks as expected, I'm being as honest as possible, there is a scuff on the front driver's side and a scratch on the back of the tailgate next to the "X5" sign (both have been photographed) and some stone chips here and there. The Parking brake button is loose and sometimes comes up however the parking brake works fine and stays in place. The tailgate wont open with the tailgate button at the rear, this must be opened via the Key fob or the tailgate button from the front dashboard on the car. The Air con and Heating work all good and the interior is in good shape for its age, can't fault the car other than the above mentioned. Car is sitting at 127,500 Miles. I'm open to sensible offers.
