1990 Land Rover Defender 110 Hard Top 200Tdi - Much-loved Family Defender, Restoration Project It is with genuine sadness that we've decided to sell our much-loved 1990 Land Rover Defender 110 Hard Top after 20 years of ownership. We bought her from our neighbour in 2006, and she's been part of our family ever since. Over the years she's taken us on countless camping holidays, family adventures and weekends away, creating memories that we'll always treasure. We always hoped we'd restore her one day, but the reality is we simply don't have the time or budget to give her the restoration she deserves. She is fitted with the sought-after 200Tdi engine, which has unfortunately suffered a piston failure and now requires rebuilding or replacement. As a result, she is a non-runner and will need to be transported away on a trailer. This is a genuine restoration project. The bulkhead, footwells and bodywork all show corrosion and age-related wear, and the chassis has been repaired during its life, as is common with Defenders of this age. We'd much rather describe her honestly than have anyone arrive expecting something she isn't. Despite needing significant work, she is a complete, original Defender 110 Hard Top with plenty of character and deserves to be brought back to life by someone with the enthusiasm and skills to do so.
